Route to the Diploma of Membership of British Academy of Aesthetic Facial Surgery (MBAAFS)
- Upon successful completion of our Basic and Advanced course and passing the written assessment of the two courses our delegates can apply for MBAAFS.
- Delegates who had partial training with other recognised training institutes, can apply for BAAFS membership via the alternative route (Figure 1)
- Delegates who had partial training with other recognised training institutes, and can show evidence of a minimum of two days of training, and submit evidence of treating ten cases of botulinum toxins and ten cases of filler supported by preoperative and postoperative photographs can apply for a membership by assessment following completion of a BAAFS bridging course (Figure 1).
- Delegates who had full training with other recognised training institute, and have a minimum 5 year experience in delivering botulinum toxin and dermal fillers treatments, and have a minimum 5 year of experience as a tutor in the field you can apply for a membership by assessment (Figure 2).
- After admittance to membership, in order to maintain their MBAAFS status, members are required to submit an annual evidence of:
- 50 hours of CPD (with minimum 5 verifiable hours on Aesthetics), or
- 5 verifiable hours of CPD on Aesthetics together with Certificate of good standing from relevant regulatory body.
