The British Academy of Aesthetic Facial Surgery (BAAFS) is a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals joined as a forum with a sole aim of training and support for health professionals wishing to pursue a career in Aesthetic Facial surgery.
The British Academy of Aesthetic Facial Surgery (BAAFS) is one of the Facial Aesthetics societies in the United Kingdom, with members from the UK and various countries all around the world. The British Academy of Aesthetic Facial Surgery aims to enhance current knowledge and clinical skills in Aesthetic Facial Surgery ensuring functional and long lasting care.
Our aims:
– To promote a better understanding of aesthetic surgery amongst healthcare professionals
– To promote a better understanding of avoiding and managing complications in facial aesthetics.
– To stimulate Training in the aspect of aesthetic surgery
– To inform and educate the public on the aesthetic treatments available
-To disseminate recent information and evidence based knowledge amongst healthcare professionals
Our Online Objectives:
-We provide online support and advice to health professionals aspiring to develop their interest in office-based aesthetic facial procedures
-We run free online webinars and lectures to help spread the know-how in office-based facial aesthetic procedures.
– We provide group support via social media and WhatsApp to all our course delegates to encourage discussion and support for delegates starting a new aesthetic practice.
All our trainers are physicians, dentists and and surgeons with extensive experience in aesthetic procedures and training with backgrounds in plastic surgery, cleft surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery.

The British Academy of Aesthetic Facial Surgery (BAAFS) was established to lead the training of healthcare professionals in the field of facial aesthetic procedures to a standard it believes should exist through formal regulation.
BAAFS believes only the most qualified and experienced of health professionals should be able to perform such procedures to ensure the best of patient safety and standard of teaching.
BAAFS course delegates treat a large number of live models under strict supervision by our trainers. Furthermore, all our trainers are physicians and surgeons with extensive experience in aesthetic procedures and training with backgrounds in plastic surgery, cleft surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery.
Foundation Two Day Botulinum Toxins and Dermal Fillers Course This intensive two day course commences with delegates completing key pre-course material that ensures they are fully prepared for a predominantly practical two days of training. Our pre-course material covers important aspects of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and safety relevant to aesthetic procedures and would require an average of 20 hours of revision.
Advanced Two Day Botulinum Toxins and Dermal Fillers Advanced Course This course provides you with the relevant knowledge and skills to practice the most advanced aesthetic procedures.The course provides delegates with insight on how to avoid complications in aesthetic medicine and how to deal with them should they happen.
